Indian Institute of Remote Sensing invites applications for recruitment of Scientist. IIRS is going to fill up 4 posts through this job notification.

Interested and eligible candidates with the required eligibility criteria can apply before 29th May 2012. Mode of applying is online only. After applying online, candidates has to take printout and sent it along with other documents before 4th June 2012.

4 vacancies are for the post of Scientist SD in the area of Atmospheric Sciences, Engineering Geology/ Geotechnical Engineering, Ecology, Urban Planning. 3 posts are vacant for Scientist SC in the area of Geophysics, Hydrological Modeling, Geo informatics.
Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Scientist SD should posses degree of Ph.D in the relevant discipline and Degree/ diploma is desirable. For the post of Scientist SC, candidates should posses degree of M.Sc/ M.Tech in the relevant discipline research experience.
Pay scale: Both the positions are under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- with GP Rs.5400 and Rs.6600/-. Scientist SC will get total emolument of Rs.49602/- per month and SC will get Rs.40508/- per month as total emolument.
