• Educational Qualification : Candidates applying for the post of Stenographer should have Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. 
• For the posts of Lower Division Assistant, Typist Passed Madhyamik or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Board.
• For the posts of Sub Assistant Engineer (Civil, Electrical) Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering form a recognized university.
• Age Limit :The upper age should be below 40 years as on 01-01-2012.
• Age Relaxation:The upper age is by 3 years in case of OBC. Up to 5 years in case of SC/ST.
