Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Tiruchirappalli invites applications for recruitment of Artisans in various trades. BHEL is going to fill up 750 posts through this job notification.

Candidates with the required qualification can apply before 25th April 2012. Mode of application is online only. After applying online, candidates has to send acknowledgment slip at BHEL Tiruchi before 30th April 2012.

Total 750 posts are available for Artisans in the trade of Electrician, Machinist, Turner, Welder, Crane Operator, Instrument Mechanic, Furnace Operator and Fitter. Out of these, 202 posts are for OBC candidates, 142 are for SC, 7 are for ST and rest 399 are for candidates belonging to general category.
Eligibility criteria: candidates applying for this post should not be more than 27 years of age and should have passed metric standard or SSLC along and also should posses National Trade Certificate and National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant trade. Minimum 60% marks is essential in NTC and NAC.
Pay scale: Selected candidates will have to work for a period of 1 year with consolidated salary of Rs.11000/- per month and after successful completion of this period, candidates will be appointed as Artisan Grade IV with salary under the pay scale of Rs.11700-23000/- per month.

Selection will made through objective type written examination and interview. Written test will be held at Tiruchirappalli and will be tri-lingual in English/ Hindi/ Tamil language.
