• Educational Qualification : Candidates applying for the post of Specialist Medical Officer(Deputy Commandant) should posses Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty.Candidates applying for the post of Medical Officer(Assistant Commandant) should pass A recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second schedule or Part–II of the third schedule.
  Age Limit : Candidates Upper age limit for the post of Specialist Medical Officer(Deputy Commandant) is 40 years,30 years for the post of Medical Officer(Assistant Commandant) and 35 years for the post of Dental Surgeon.
• Age Relaxations : 5 years age relaxation for ST/SC candidates. 3 years for OBC and up to 5 years for government servants.
