- Educational Qualification : Candidates applying for the post of Diploma Trainee (Ship Building Engg.) should have Three years full time Diploma in Ship Building Engineering.
- For the post of Structural Fitter National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) in the trade of Structural Fitter/ NTC in the trade of Fitter/ Sheet Metal Worker.
- For the posts of Yard Assistant, Store Assistant Degree in any discipline.
- For the post of Deputy Manager (Finance) Graduation with member ship in ICAI/ ICWAI or Full time M.B.A or P.G.D.M with Finance as major elective from a recognized University.
- Age Limit :The upper age should be below 33 years for Diploma Trainee (Ship Building Engg.), Structural Fitter posts. 38 years for the remaining posts as on 30-09-2012.
- Age Relaxation:The upper age relaxation for the reserved candidates will be as per the govt. rules.
