Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences invites applications for recruitment Faculty. IHBAS is going to fill up 22 posts through this job notification.

Vacancies are for the post of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in various disciplines under Special Recruitment Drive for SC, ST and OBC. All the following posts are on regular basis. Interested candidates can apply before 30th April 2012.

3 vacancies are for the post of Associate Professor in the discipline of Psychiatry and Neurology. 17 posts are for Assistant Professor in the discipline of Psychiatry, Neurology, Radiology and Pharmacology. 2 posts are vacant for Psychiatric Social Worker.
Pay scale: Post of Associate Professor is under the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000/- with Grade pay of Rs.9000/- and all other posts are under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- with appropriate grade pay.
Age limit: Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor should not be more than 45 years of age and maximum 35 years of age is required for the post of Psychiatric Social Worker.
Qualification: Post graduation qualification along with minimum 6 years of teaching/ research experience in the relevant discipline is required for the post of Associate Professor. While for the post of Assistant professor, candidates should posses post graduation qualification along with 3 years of experience. Candidates interested in the post of Psychiatric Social Worker should posses masters degree in Sociology with degree of M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work.
