Indian Institute of Technology, Madras invites applications for recruitment of Faculties. IIT, Madras is going to fill up various posts through this job notification.

Vacancies are for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the department of Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Physics, Ocean Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Engineering Design, Humanities & Social Sciences, Management Studies, Mathematics, Computer Science & Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
Pay scale: Professor will get minimum pay of Rs.48000/- per month under the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000/- with AGP Rs.10500/-. While Associate Professor will get basic pay of Rs.42800/- per month under the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000/- with AGP Rs.9500/- and Assistant Professor will get Rs.30000/- per month as basic pay under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- along with Rs.8000/- as AGP.
