Income Tax Department invites applications for recruitment for the posts of Inspector, Tax Assistant and Stenographers Grade-II. Income Tax Department is going to fill up 37 vacancies through this job notification

Eligibility Criteria :                                                                                                              

  • Educational Qualification : Candidates applying for the post of Inspector need to have Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent. For the post of Tax Assistant Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent and should have data entry speed of 8000 keys depressions per hour. For the post of Stenographers Grade-II 12th class pass or its equivalent from a recognized university/ Board.
  • Age Limit :The age should be less than 27 years as on 25-10-2012.
  • Age Relaxation:The upper age limit is given up to 10 years for SC/ST candidates and up to 5 years for the General/ OBC and 8 years for Departmental candidates of general/ OBC. 13 years for departmental candidates of SC/ST.
