Konkan Railway Corporation Limited invites online applications for recruitment of various vacancies. KRCL is going to fill up 23 posts through this job notification.

Retired or Ex-serviceman from Indian Army can only apply and that too latest by 30th November 2011 by sending a dully filled in application form. The below given posts are for the probation period of 2 years and candidates will be selected by seeing their performance in interview as well as screening of documents. After that candidates has to go through a Medical examination conducted by Konkan Railway’s Corporation Medical Authorities.

3 posts are for Deputy Chief Engineer, 5 are for Assistant engineers, 10 vacancies are for Section Engineer and 5 posts are for Office Assistant cum Personal Secretary.
Pay scale : Post of Deputy Chief engineer is under the pay scale of Rs. 37400-67000/- with Rs. 8700/- as GP, Assistant Engineer will get salary under the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100/- with GP RS. 5400/-. While salary under the pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800/- is fixed for Section Engineer and Office Assistants.
Age : Candidates applying for the post of Deputy Chief Engineer should not be more than 55 years and for rest of the positions candidates age should be maximum 50 years.
Qualification : Graduation is the minimum qualification required for Office assistants while degree of BE in civil is necessary for rest of the positions. Candidates should also have knowledge of Computers.
