National Environmental Engineering Research Institute invites applications for recruitment of Technical and Scientist. NEERI Ltd is going to fill up 22 posts through this job notification.

To take up the challenges, NEERI is looking for candidates having best qualification and experience for conducting research and development activities. Candidates with the citizenship of India can apply before 15th May 2012.

16 vacancies are for the post of Scientist Group IV-2 with total emolument of Rs.52178/- per month under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- with GP Rs.6600/-. This post is for the discipline of Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics/ Physics/ Instrumentation, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Meteorology/ Atmospheric Science, Bio Chemistry.
2 posts are for Senior Technical Officer Group III-4 for Civil Engineering with Rs.44130/- per month as salary under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- with GP Rs.5400/-.
4 vacancies are for Technical Assistant Group III-1 with total emolument of Rs.23457/- per month under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with Rs.4200/- as grade pay. This post is for the area of Geophysics, Computer Science, Journalism and Environmental Science.
Eligibility: candidates applying for the post of Scientist and Senior Technical Assistant should not be more than 35 years of age. While maximum 28 years of age is required for the post of Technical Assistant. Degree of ME/ M.Tech along with 2 years of research/ field experience is essential for Scientist. Degree of BE/ B.Tech in civil engineering along with 2 years of experience is required for the post of Senior Technical Assistant and candidates applying for Technical Assistant post should posses degree of M.Sc with relevant experience.

Selection will be based on the performance of candidates in personal interview.
