Northern Railway invites applications for recruitment of General Duty medical Practitioner/ Specialist. Northern Railway is going to fill up 29 posts through this job notification.

Following post is for a contract period of 1 year. Candidates who find themselves eligible can come for an interview between 2nd May 2012 till 14th May 2012. Interview will be on 2nd May 2012 at Lucknow, on 3rd May 2012 at Moradabad, on 11th May 2012 at Ambala Cantt., on 12th May 2012 at Amritsar and on 14th May 2012 at New Delhi.

Total 29 vacancies are for the post of General Duty medical Practitioner/ Specialist. Out of these, 4 posts are for SC, 2 are for ST, 8 are for OBC and rest 15 posts are for general category. Candidates with MBBS degree can apply for the post of General Duty Doctor while Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma is needed for the post of Specialist. Candidates age should not be more than 59 years.
Honorarium: Rs.39400/- per month is fixed for General Duty Doctors and Specialists will get Rs.46800/-.

At the time of interview, candidates has to bring filled in application form in a prescribed format along with photographs attached and also signature has to be attested. Date of birth certificate, certificate of MBBS degree, caste certificate, internship certificate and other educational certificates will be required during interview.
