Panjab University invites applications for recruitment of Faculty positions. Panjab University is going to fill up 33 posts through this job notification.

All the following posts are for Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Chandigarh.

1 post is for Principal. 4 posts are for Professors in the discipline of Oral Pathology, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Prosthodontics. 11 vacancies are for the post of Associate Professor and 17 posts are for Senior Assistant Professors/ Senior Lecturer. Both of these posts are for the discipline of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Paediatrics & preventive Dentistry, Oral Medicine & Radiology, Public Health Dentistry, Pharmacology, General Surgery and Anaesthesia.
Pay scale: Post of Assistant Professors/ Senior Lecturer is under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- with AGP Rs.7000/- per month while rest of the posts are under the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000/- with relevant grade pay.
Qualification: BDS degree in the relevant discipline with required experience is essential for the post of Principal, Professor and Associate Professor. While, degree of MDS in the concerned discipline is required for the post of Assistant Professors/ Senior Lecturer.

Selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in interview.
