State Bank of India invites online applications for recruitment of Clerks. SBI is going to fill up 9500 posts through this job notification.

Only candidates with the required qualification and experience can apply and that too latest by 24th March 2012. All the posts are on contract basis. Selection will be based on the performance of candidates in an interview. Details about the vacancies are given below.

5 posts are for Circle Defence Banking Advisor ( Army ).
Eligibility: Candidates interested in this positions should not be more than 60 years of age and should be an Army Officer retired in the rank of Brigadier or Major General. Selected candidates will get placement in any of the circles of the Bank in Chandigarh, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Chennai and North Eastern.
CTC: The basic pay for this post will be Rs.80000/- per month with CTC of Rs. 20 lakhs.

The Central Recruitment & Promotion Department of State Bank of India has released an advertisement no.CRPD/CR/2011-12/5A. It is a modification of earlier advertisement no. CRPD/CR/2011-12/05.
According to new advertisement, 8500 vacancies are for Assistants ( including earlier vacancy ), 1000 are for Stenographers in Hindi and English. For these positions, candidates can apply online from 5th March 2012 till 26th March 2012.
