• Educational Qualification : Candidates applying for the post of Foremen (Marine) must possess degree in Mechanical Engineering of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant. OR  A Post-Diploma in Diesel Traction issued by the Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education and Training OR A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering awarded by the Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education and Training.
• Age Limit : Candidates age must be above 18 years as on 01-07-2012.
