Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission invites online applications for recruitment of Drug Inspector. TNPSC is going to fill up 114 posts through this job notification.

TNPSC is looking for candidates having best qualifications and experience according to the requirements of the advertisement no. 298 released in the official website of TNPSC. Interested and eligible Indian Citizens can apply online latest by 12th April 2012.

90 vacancies are for the post of Drug Inspector under Tamil Nadu medical Service, 23 are for Junior Analyst in the Drugs Testing Laboratory under Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service and 1 post is for Phenyl Assistant under Tamil Nadu Jail Subordinate Service.
pay scale: Phenyl Assistant will get salary under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with Rs.2800/- as GP and rest of the posts are under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with relevant grade pay.
Age limit: Candidates age should be above 18 years and should be below 30 years.
Qualification: Graduation in Pharmacy is the minimum qualification required for all the above positions.

Selection will be through objective type written examination and interview. Written exam will be for the duration of 3 hours and will contain 300 objective type questions. Centre of examination will be Chennai, Tirunelveli, Coimbatore, Madurai and Tiruchirappalli. After clearing this test, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview/ oral test.
