West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited invites applications for recruitment of Managerial Positions. WBSETCL is going to fill up 371 posts through this job notification.

The 11th largest of the 23 state transmission utilities of the country is WBSETCL. It was formed in 2007 by the Government of West Bengal as a part of State Electricity Board of West Bengal. It was basically established for the transmission of power in the whole state of West Bengal. It manages all its activities from its head quarter located at Kolkata.

A recruitment notification no.REC/2012/01 has been published for the recruitment of various managerial posts in WBSETCL. Only Indian Nationals with the domicile of West Bengal can apply online between 20th April 2012 to 9th May 2012. Candidates has to send the required documents along with DD and printout of the system generated application form before 21st may 2012.

Under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- with GP Rs.5400/-,
95 vacancies are for Assistant Engineer in the discipline of Electrical, Civil and IT. 29 posts are for Assistant Manager in HR & A and Finance & Accounts department.
Under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with Rs.4700/- as grade pay,
27 posts available for Junior Executive in Finance & Accounts department.
Under the pay scale of Rs.6300-20600/- along with relevant grade pay,
165 posts are for Junior Engineer grade II in electrical and civil discipline, 18 are for Stenographer and 37 posts are for Assistant.
