Western Coalfields Limited invites applications for recruitment of Mining Sirdar / Shot firer. WCL is going to fill up 181 posts through this job notification.

Applications are invited by WCL for the post of Mining Sirdar. Only Indian Nationals with the required qualification and experience can apply and that too latest by 10th May 2012. Total 181 vacancies are available for the post of Mining Sirdar/ Shot firer, T&S Grade C . Out of these, 78 posts are for OBC candidates, 26 are for SC, 16 are for ST and 60 posts are for general category.
Eligibility: Candidates with minimum 18 years and even maximum 30 years of age can apply. Candidates should posses diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying and Overman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS or Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS. A valid Gas Testing Certificate issued by DGMS and valid First Aid Certificate is also essential.

Selection will be based on written examination and interview. Selected candidates will get basic pay of Rs.19035.02/- per month.
